These wav files contains notes C and F over the keyboard, all with vibrato off except c3av.wav That sample is so you can set your own vibrato to match the Conti's

Here are the separate notes saved as WAV files, as you know they don't compress with winzip so grab them one by one.
The a simply refers to the drawbar setting so I don't get them mixed up.

Sampled into a PC SoundBlaster AWE32 at 44100Hz 16bit mono with MS SoundRecorder through a Studiomaster Mixdown Gold (simply to get level - no eq). Samples edited in Cool Edit (by David Johnston v1.34)

I haven't changed anything about the sounds only chopped off blank starts and endings so you should have the effect of connecting your sampler into the socket of the Conti.

During the process I noticed that some keys caused a 'blip' when the key was released - most keys 'spit' when depressed, this blip can easily be seen with CoolEdit.

So get your sampler switched on and stuff these samples in, I expect you to be either surfing or ice skating depending upon which country you are in.
When I put lots of big reverb on it reminds me of the ice rink sound of the sixties, The Avengers, Carnaby Street, the Mini Moke, Twiggy, E type Jags, Z-cars and the start of a whole new liberated youth scene.

And finally for what it's worth the great Joe Meek was born and grew up in the next village to me here in Gloucester, a place called Newent. They have recently mounted a plaque in his honour. Not worthy of an international journey though.. mind you I could add a photo and save you the effort.
