The Mid Essex Model Railway Club meets twice weekly in its rented premises. After many years of good service we have vacated the Crossing Keepers Cottage at Ingatestone. Our Club House is now in a rural setting just off Junction 14 of the A12 near Margaretting. Prospective Members are invited to contact the Club Secretary for further details.
The Mid Essex M.R.C. currently has working layouts in N, OO and EM gauges but the active interests of members also include TT, O, 1, narrow gauge, and 12 inch to the foot modelling. See our Layouts page for details of the layouts belonging to the club and some of its members.
Another major activity of the Mid Essex M.R.C. is the organisation of our annual model railway exhibition. The 32nd Mid Essex Model Railway Exhibition will be held on Saturday 19th September 2009 at Shenfield High School, Oliver Road, Shenfield, Essex, UK. Open from 10am to 5:30pm with free car parking on site and a free bus service from Shenfield railway station. Check out our Exhibition page for full details.
