TRAINING Kingston Diamonds train every Monday at 9:15pm under the supervision of Level III coach Tim Healand and Level I coach Michael Soper. Training cost £5 and is payable directly to the club, this covers the cost of practice only. Alternatively an annual fee of £140 can be paid. All females with suitable insurance and equipment are welcome to attend practices without becoming a member of the club. To become a member of the club an annual subscription of £120 is payable to the club in addition to paying £10 per away game when selected to travel on a minibus or £20 when we travel on a Coach. All players are expected to provide their own protective equipment, insurance, refreshments and payment for accommodation on away games. Girls who are members of the Kingston Junior Development automatically become members of the club without further payment, however when traveling away the above bus fares are charged for this payment a parent or guardian of the junior may travel for free. Juniors are still expected to provide their own protective equipment, refreshments and payment for accommodation on away games. The training fee is also payable by all Junior members. When you become a member of the team you become eligible for discounts from the Skaters Edge, skate shop. In addition to this you will make many friends and a gain a great social life associated to playing Ice Hockey. The team is constantly on the look out for new players, all female hockey players are more than welcome to try out to become a Kingston Diamond. For those who would like to take up the sport the Hull Arena have Ice Hockey courses for beginners, contact the Hull Arena on 01482 325252 for further details. On completion of the course you may then try out for the team, subject to having the correct equipment and relevant insurances.
