ONE BABY BORN.

One baby born in the darkness of time
One baby born for the good of mankind.
So small, so frail, so meek was He,
Who would have thought
The Son of God He would be?
One baby born to laugh and play,
One baby born to give us hope that day.
So small, so frail, so meek was He,
Who would have thought
His mission was to die on the tree?
One baby born to suffer for all,
One baby born, to die was His call.
So small, so frail, so meek was He,
Who would have thought He held the Key
That opens Life's Gate to Victory?
One baby born in the darkness of time,
One baby born for the good of mankind,
So small, so frail, so meek was He,
A gift of Love for you and me.

AN ANGEL OF THE LORD APPEARED TO THEM.

An angel of the Lord appeared to them,
and the glory of the Lord shone around them,
and they were so afraid.
But the angel said to them "Do not be afraid.
I bring you good news of great joy
that will be for all the people.

Today in the town of David a Savior
has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.
This will be a sign to you.
You will find a baby wrapped in
swaddling clothes and lying in a manger".

Christmas is more than a day in December
It's all of those things that we love to remember...
It's carolers singing familiar refrains.
Bright-colored stockings and shiny toy trains...
Streamers of tinsel and glass satin balls.
Laughter that rings through the house and its halls...

Christmas is more than a day in December...
It's the magic and love that we'll always remember.

FOLLOW THE STAR.

Follow the star of Bethlehem;
It's a beacon, for all men on earth.
For it shows us God's plan of salvation,
An announcement of our Savior's birth.

Follow the star to Bethlehem,
And find that it leads to a cross;
Where God's only son was delivered,
To give of Himself, at great cost.

Follow the star at Bethlehem,
To worship God's beloved son.
Give Him your life and devotion,
And be grateful salvation is won.

Follow the star at Bethlehem,
It'll guide you, wherever you are;
You'll have peace and a life of contentment,
As you follow the Bethlehem star.

A CHRISTMAS MESSAGE.

As Christmas arrives, as it does every year,
We hope it brings happiness, comfort and cheer.
To replace all the hustle and shopping around,
May serenity, peace and contentment abound.

The true message of Christmas is told to us clear,
The Advent of Jesus, and "be of good cheer".
The Father in Heaven has sent down His Son,
In the form of a baby for our redemption.

Let's take time to thank Him and worship His Son,
And be grateful the work of redemption is done;
For our Savior was hung on a cross for our deeds,
'Tis the best gift at Christmas, one that each of us needs.

WHEN SANTA CLAUS COMES.

A good time is coming, I wish it were here,
The very best time in the whole of the year;
I'm counting each day on my fingers and thumbs --
the weeks that must pass before Santa Claus comes.

Then when the first snowflakes begin to come down,
And the wind whistles sharp and the branches are brown,
I'll not mind the cold, though my fingers it numbs,
For it brings the time nearer when Santa Claus comes.

IT'S A JOY TO GET TOGETHER.

It's a joy to get together
At the Christmas holidays,
To see the family once again
Down at the old home place.
To see the little children
With faces shining bright
And hear the happy voices
Not heard when out of sight.

It's a joy to get together

To share the things of Christmas
With those we hold so dear.
To read the Christmas Story
Of how Jesus came to earth;
It's a joy to get together
At this season of Christ's birth.

SNOWBIRD.

Snowbird high among the branches
You are blessedly content,
With your glistening feathers shining,
Like a Christmas ornament.
Chirping out the season's greetings,
Every note in sweet accord,
Small, bright-eyed ambassador,
Belonging to the Lord.

Snowflakes fall in gay abandon,
As you spread your wings in flight,
Will you journey through the heavens,
Over Bethlehem tonight?
Will you hear the angels singing,
As the shepherds kneel to pray?
Will you nestle in the warm hand,
Of the Manger Child today?

Snowbird ever rising higher,
As I strain my eyes to see,
One last flash of wing, and vainly
Wish that I might follow thee.
But man's feet were made for walking,
Past the darkness to the light,
Still I think our destinations
Must remain the same. . . tonight.

WE CELEBRATE.

We trim a tree and wrap up gifts
With festive colors bright,
We gather 'round a cozy fire
To sing "O Holy Night."
We cook a juicy turkey
And make big fancy pies,
And plan to find some special ways
To strengthen family ties.
There are many different customs
We share o'er all the earth,
As we celebrate the coming
Of our our Lord's holy birth!
