Team Leaders and the Continuous
Improvement Process: Continuous Improvement philosophy; principles and
concepts; your own organization’s Continuous Improvement process;
the difference between being a team director and team facilitator.

Team Road Map Management:
selecting the appropriate road map to apply to team projects;
completing the road map steps to achieve the team’s mission;
selecting appropriate tools at each step in the road map; the use of
the basic tools including brainstorming and multi-voting.

 |
Project Management: developing
project plans; facilitating team progress through projects; leading
meetings and ensuring accurate and complete record keeping;
anticipating, preventing and managing problems.

 |
Team Building: team building
methods and skills; stages of team development; establishing and
maintaining open communication; meeting ground rules; developing team
member's skills; using coaching skills with challenging team members;
valuing diversity; motivating the team.

Team Process and Road Map
Simulation: bringing together the learning from the first four
modules; experiencing a process improvement; learning how a road map
and other team tools can help to improve a process in a systematic
manner.

Organizational Interface:
different audiences; defining stakeholders needs and interests;
effective presentations and reporting progress; written communication;
communication and feedback; resources and how to secure them; skills
reassessment and goal setting.

outcomes:
By completing this workshop
Team Leaders will be able to: develop a positive view on the need and
effectiveness of Quality Improvement Teams; lead and develop Quality
Improvement Teams; use some of the tools for Continuous Improvement;
transfer and apply the learning into their own workplace.
