Eastern Region Intermediate Foil Championships

Sunday 18th March 2001

at the Chelmsford & Anglia Polytechnic University Sports Hall, Park Road, Chelmsford

(Opposite the Railway Station)

 

The events will be held on Sunday 18th March 2001 and we look forward to receiving your entries.

The entry fee for the event will be £10.

These championships are the qualifying events for the National Finals, details of which have yet to be confirmed.

N.B. Every fencer must be a British Citizen, aged 16 years or over and a member of British Fencing (Associate or Full), it will be possible to join on the day with payment by cheque or cash. Fencers must not have been ranked in the top 100 of the men’s senior foil rankings or the top 50 of the women’s senior foil rankings at the end of last season nor have previously won the British Novices/Intermediate Men’s or Women’s Foil Championship.

We will require referees so if your club has fencers who are entering please try to also bring along someone who can referee. We would also be grateful if clubs could bring boxes.

 

Check-in for both ladies and men’s events will close at 10:00 a.m.

Enclosed are entry forms, please feel free to copy as many as you need. These entry forms should be returned to Tony Sach, 116 Long Brandocks, Writtle, Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 3JR by 16th March 2001 together with a cheque payable to British Fencing - Eastern Region covering the entry fees..

Entry on the day will be accepted, a late entry fee of £2-00 will be payable.

Entries will also be accepted by e-mail to anthonysach@cs.com or phone on 01245 420727 if received by the closing date with payment on the day, a late entry fee will be payable if they are received after the closing date.
