Essex Youth Games (Click herefor up-to-dateinformation) Joanne Reynolds in Southend has successfully negotiated the inclusionof Fencing into the Essex Youth Games on 28 June 2008. This new team event for 2008 is ideal for a first taste of a competition. It is open to anyone under 15 on 01-09-08. You participate by attending your local clubin the qualifier week between 12 May and 16 May. Click on the above link for details.

Those who qualify for their local team in May, will get in June at the Essex Youth games themselves

• Free national Social Membership for newcomers
• Free entry to the essex Youth games
• Free hire of breeches, lame etc
• Signed certificate for all fencers
• Free Essex Youth Games merchandise for some
• Celebrity prize giving
