Rossend Castle Rossend sits on the high ground above the once bustling harbour at Burntisland. The castle was subject to a tasteful renovation in the 1970s and the architects of this work are now housed in the beautiful building. Famous visitors to the castle include Mary Queen of Scots and Oliver Cromwell.
