AMAECHI BASKETBALL CENTRE
Non-Residential Camp 2
· Largest Basketball Hall in England
· 3 international size courts
· Sprung wooden floor
· Complex also includes ten 5-a-side football pitches, aerobics studio, fitness gym and video facilities
SUGDEN SPORTS CENTRE
Residential Camp 1
· 4 international size courts
· Sprung wooden floor
· Complex also includes extensive gym and aerobic studios

The Sugden Sports Centre is owned by the University of Manchester. 2 full size courts were built about 5 years ago, and 2 more courts were added 2 years ago. All 4 courts are in a single complex in the University area of Manchester. The Sugden Centre will be used for our Residential Camp this year.

Because of the massive growth in numbers of our Summer Camps over the years, we have become more and more spread out over the City in terms of playing venues, accommodation and eating facilities. This has wasted considerable playing/coaching time, because of the coach journeys we have had to make throughout the day. By using the Sugden Centre for our residential camp, all accommodation and eating facilities are 100 metres away from the playing venue. We believe that moving to the Sugden will improve the whole quality of the Basketball Camp.

INFORMATION
JOHN AMAECHI
John will be present all day, every day and he will split his time between the Amaechi Basketball Centre and the Sugden Centre.
USA COACHES
John's top-quality coaching colleagues from the States will again accompany him and bring their vast experience to our Camp.
MANCHESTER BASKETBALL & ENGLISH COACHES

In the 8 years since its inception, our Club has grown from 2 teams playing in the National League to 16 teams in 2005/06, ranging from Under 14 Boys and Girls to Senior Magic and Mystics.

The quality of our coaching staff has taken it to the pinnacle of English basketball. Our individual International players over the past few years have made a tremendous impact on the England teams, boys and girls, in all age groups.

We have been fortunate enough to have won 26 National titles since 2000. (The banners at the Amaechi Basketball Centre give all details of these achievements).

All our top Club coaches will be on duty at the camps and will be able to impart their considerable knowledge to all campers
