Pentewan Beach

With its fine sand and clear blue sea, Pentewan Beach has its own slip way and launching service, making it ideal for swimming, sailing, water-skiing, windsurfing and other watersports.

Pentewan Village

This tiny village, with a permanent population of 103, boasts a pub (The Ship Inn, full of character and with a friendly welcome), a Post Office and shop and tea rooms in the summer. There is a tiny church on the terrace, a village hall and traditional village square.

With the Old Harbour this makes a lovely, peaceful place to holiday and enjoy mixing the past with the present. Other local activities include:-

Coastal Path - Explore our beautiful coastline. The famous Cornish coast path runs right through Pentewan making our location the ideal base for walkers.

Local Harbour and River - Take a gentle stroll through the woods alongside the White River or enjoy the picturesque old village and harbour of Pentewan.

The Eden Project - In a vast china clay pit in Cornwall, the Eden Project is building a living theatre to tell the stories of plants and people.

The Mevagissey to Fowey Ferry - This runs every day (according to the weather) and provides a great view of Pentewan, other coastal villages and the abundant wildlife.
