"BERRY" Portrait Prize Winner of the Spaniel Section at THE MOY GAME FAIR . I was invited to be one of the "Artists in Action " at the 2007 Scone Game Fair where my work was on show in the Game Conservancy Stand. I am, once again, doing a portrait for them of the winning gundog . I am also, as usual, presenting a portrait prize for the ever popular Moy Game Fair 2009 gundog section

Shimi - looking more grown up!! Found in a box with 2 other kittens by the River Beauly, hence his name, after the Late Lord Lovat. He's fast turning into a monster!!...and such fun, we think that he's probably half Burmese... doubtless the result of an illicit liaison ...Catflaps obviously have their uses!!
"Percy" Before I decided to get a cocker spaniel someone told me that they consider themselves to be people - how right they were!!
The Old Trout This is a new design this year and has proved to be one of my top sellers - I suspect it rings a few bells!!!

Sculpture Workshops This horse was produced by a pupil in a 2 day workshop - she had never sculpted in her life before! This is by no means atypical of the type of results that we achieve ... so why not come along and have some fun! |
I decided to include this extra page in order to allow people to see what I am up to - as I am both lecturing and producing new commissions all the time. I also thought it might be fun for my clients to see their own portraits on the Web........never mind their owners!! I Heather Cary

STOP PRESS: " Percy" - Wait for ME Mum!!..... Heather is a fully qualified angling coach ( UKCC level 2) and fly fishing instructor. She holds the SGAIC (Scottish Game Anglers Instructors Certificate) has fished all her life, she was Scottish Ladies Fly Fishing Champion in 2006 and is delighted to arrange tuition courses as and when required. She is the first woman in Scotland to have passed the newly updated SGAIC exam and was Capped for Scotland for a second time in the Ladies Fly Fishing International hosted by Ireland at Killarney in June 2009. Scotland got SILVER! She has been invited to instruct at the CASTING FOR RECOVERY RETREAT to be held at Kingennie, Angus in Sep 09.
