The Jesslar Taboner Memorial scroll library is funded from a bequest in the will of our late Alumni, Ms Jesslar Taboner.
As a service to members ONLY, the Assembly makes available a number of magic scrolls for sale at 2 x copy cost. All such requests should be made direct to the Guild Librarian, Lady Eleanor deManfess, either via the Guild Yahoo Group, or the public notice board.
The income from this service goes to the Library’s acquisitions fund, which will pay any member who presents a previously unavailable scroll to the Librarian at the rate of five times the copy cost. Members who find new spells are expected to make copies available to the Librarian for addition to the library.
Lady Eleanor is normally to be found in the Guild room in the Safe Haven. Please make sure that your Assembly membership badge is displayed when collecting your scroll.

Note that by a decree of the Archmage, it is forbidden for Assembly mages to sell, give or exchange NON-
The reason for this decree is two-
Secondly, the Archmage sees no reason why mages who are not members of the Assembly (or who are members of other arcane Guilds) should benefit from the researches and efforts of Lady Eleanor and other Assembly members.
It is recognised that there are times when, to protect the lives of others or the safety of the Kingdom, it may be desirable to allow exceptions to this rule, in which case the Archmage will grant permission for the decree to be exempted. Application for exemptions should be made to the Archmage. If he is not in a position to respond immediately, a Guild Deputy or the Librarian is authorised to grant them instead.
