Club Show appointment rules of the N.A.H.S.
Open Shows
Having once judged one of the sexes at a Club Limit or Club Open Show, a judge shall not be eligible to judge that sex at one of those shows again until four (4) years has elapsed.
Any person on our 'B' list being balloted to judge one sex at one of our Open Shows must not accept an appointment to judge that same sex within (12) months prior to the Club Show.
Judges for the Club Open and Limit shows to be taken from the 'B.' List. At least on 10 class show sponsored by the Club shall be set aside yearly for suitable All Rounders, if the Committee so decide. The Committee will make every effort to ensure the judges on the Junior list are nominated for appointments at the Open Shows and shall have the power to vary the list to ensure this is done
Championship Show
When a judge has accepted a Championship show within twelve (12) months before the Club Championship Show he/she shall not be eligible to judge that sex at the Club Championship Show.
Any proposed Judge will not accept any further judging appointments after winning the Club Championship Show ballot.
Having once judged one sex at the Club Championship Show, a judge shall not be eligible to judge that sex again for five years.
General
All
proposals for judges (Specialist) to the lists shall be made in writing to the
Secretary. The application to be accompanied by a brief note of Afghan classes
judged, plus a copy of the catalogue of the first show judged. The Secretary to
chose at random a second copy catalogue.
All
proposals for All Rounder judges shall be accompanied by a brief note of Afghan
or Hound classes judged. Both proposals to reach the Secretary not later than
December 31st each year.
The judging lists are only valid for one year at a time, and inclusion in a list in one year does not necessarily ensure inclusion in future years
These are the minimum requirements for the lists, meeting them does not guarantee acceptance on the lists.
Your application will then be put before the Society's panel for approval and acceptance, if accepted you will be notified and included in the following years list.
Once notified of your acceptance on to a list it is your responsibility to inform the Secretary of any changes in address and provide periodic updates on your judging experience. Failure to do so could result in non inclusion on the following years list.
