Qualifications for entry onto the N.A.H.S. Judges Lists
Junior List C. To have owned and shown an Afghan Hound for four (4) consecutive years.
Must have attended three (3) Training Sessions and passed an Afghan Hound Breed Society examination.
They may judge up to six (6) classes at Open Shows and Limit Shows.
The limit of six (6) classes does not apply to Breed Club Limit shows where the Judge is elected by ballot of the Members.
Specialist Open List B.
Indicating all persons the Society would support to judge the breed without Challenge Certificates.
To have passed an Afghan Hound Breed Society Examination.
A minimum of five (5) years judging experience.
To have judged at least thirty (30) classes at a minimum of six (6) Open shows or Breed Club Limited shows, and preferably to have judges at least one (1) show each year.
Judges to serve two (2) years on the 'B.' list before being eligible for the Championship Show List.
All-Rounder Open List B.
To have judged a minimum of 50 Afghan Classes, or alternatively to have passed an Afghan Hound Breed Society Examination and judged thirty (30) Afghan classes at Open shows.
Judges to serve two (2) years on the 'B.' list before being eligible for the Championship Show List.
To have awarded C.C.s in one other breed.
