Qualifications for entry onto the N.A.H.S. Judges Lists continued
Championship List A.
'Al' List
For persons who have previously been approved by the Kennel Club to award C.C.s in the
Breed and have completed their first appointment. To have the support of
the Society.
'A2' List
For persons who fulfill all the requirements for the A3 list and who have been
assessed in accordance with Kennel Club requirements and accepted by the Kennel
Club for inclusion on an A2 list and have the support of the Society.
'A3' List Indicates persons whom the Society would support to award Challenge Certificates but, who as yet, have not been approved by the Kennel Club for inclusion on an A2 List
Ten
(10) active years in the breed.
To
have participated in three Judge Ins (lectures with training sessions) prior to
passing and approved examination. In the case of applicants active in the breed
prior to January 1968, this may be waived at the discretion of the Society.
To
have been judging over a minimum period of 7 years.
To
have owned or bred three dogs when they obtained their 1st entry in
the K.C. Stud Book.
To
have judged at least 75 Classes at Open Shows of which 50 classes includes a 10
class Breed Club Show or better, after having passed an approved examination.
To
have stewarded for a minimum period of three years and at least twelve shows.
To
have attended a seminar given by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer, and passed
the relative examination on Kennel Club Regulations and Judging Procedures.
To
have attended a seminar given by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer on
Confirmation and Movement.
All-Rounder Championship List A.
To have judged a minimum of 100 classes of Afghan Hounds at any level under the Kennel Club Rules.
To have judged these over a minimum period of 7 years.
To have attended 3 lectures/Afghan judges training schemes.
To have awarded Challenge Certificates in at least one other Breed.
These items apart each application will be decided upon its own merits.
