The footpath(FP) and bridleway(BW) numbers shown on the map above and in the lists below, refer to the numbers of the Roxton Parish public rights of way on the definitive map held by Bedfordshire County Council (Phone 01234 363222). Copies of the definitive map for Roxton and other parishes can be obtained from the County Council for a charge.
The rights of way may also be identified by the ordinance survey grid references (6 figure with TL as preceding letters if required) which are given for the most Northerly and Southerly ends of each right of way.

The extinguishment of sections of Public Right of Way Roxton A45, A10E and part of A9 above removes the option of walking on footpaths instead of along the road. At the moment the Ouse Valley Way Extension has to use The Lane, Wyboston and the A1 Trunk Roads to get to Eaton Socon when these footpaths would provide a route using footpaths.
