Stop Press:

A new event in Didcot. July 6th

Alex has completed the moon walk!!!

Alex is wearing the "eyes"

Somewhere along the line £450 was raised for Breast Cancer Research

Further information about the Platex Moonwalk

Updated Playing Schedule.

We have a second event on July 6th.

Didcot Arts and Community Association have asked us to play at the Northbourne Centre from 3 - 5 pm. Map. I think suggestions that there is parking are optimistic!!!!

We do not have a confirmation of the Didcot Hospital Fete so I have taken it OFF the list - but it is usually August Bank Holiday Monday.

Brass Routes (Simon's other band) will be playing in the church as part of the festival on Thursday 19th June at 8pm. Tickets cost £6 and include as glass of wine.

Rogation Sunday - 25 May

The official start of the Playing Season. We will play in the usual field (where the 3 parish boundaries meet). Meet at the Village Hall at 2.30pm. I am publishing the relevant OS Maps of the area and of the field as it is possible that Parish Boundaries will be removed from maps in the near future - presumably to confuse the enemy!

The Grand Opening of the New Croquet Courts
31 May 2003

The ceremony starts at 11am with Wesley Smith of Central News TV cutting the ribbon and "firing the first shot" (Robert are you quite sure that is how you say it?) in a demonstration match between Blewbury CC and Oxford University.

The new pitches are in the  "Tickers Folly Field" extension to the Recreation Ground.

The Band will be playing from 11 until 12 .30 (Gazebo available in case of rain) meet at the Band Hut at 10:30.
