Alexander Moskalenko

F.I.G TRAMPOLINE WORLD CUP GUILDFORD, SATURDAY, 24th JUNE 2000

Recognised King of Trampoline - MOSKALENKO Alexander from Russia, four times world champion, competed out of concours because of his late entry. Nevertheless, he reminded everybody that Olympic gold is in his agenda; MOSKALENKO finishing with the top score in the Preliminaries, 69.4 pts. With impressive tariff (difficulty) of 13.4. MOSKALENKO Alexander (RUS), World Champion quoted before this competition.
" Important check up for all of us before the Olympics! I will try to go through this event very wisely; an old injury in my right foot bothers me in the last weeks, while I am trying to keep as healthy as possible up to Sydney. It is not easy keeping up one's high standards at 30. I will be very disappointed if I don't win the gold Olympic medal, but I will never regret for coming back into competitive career after a long retirement. Few people believed it would be possible for me to win again and I proved them wrong at the 1999 World Championships". GOOD FOR YOU ALEX.
