Possible Solution for the Hum
For several years past a German Hum sufferer has been experimenting
with various ways to control the Hum and now offers this solution.
150 mg
of potassium and 150 mg of magnesium to be taken together twice a day, morning and evening
It has been known for some time that diet can effect the perceived Hum
level but this is an approach to actually control it.
The best example
of how diet can effect the perceived Hum level is the well known Holiday
Effect.
One of the problems in determining the effectiveness of such
experiments is to estimate how much change is due to diet and how much is due
to the variations in actual Hum level.
To arrive at any sensible
conclusion it was first necessary to construct a detector which was capable of
measuring the daily variations in Hum level and then compare these with the
perceived level.
Tests are at present in the early stages, but so far
the results look promising
It is important to remember that diets and
mineral supplements only alter the symptoms, they do not eliminate the
pollution which causes the Hum
