I had the great fortune to have been born in the historic City of Worcester. Here is a view of our beautiful old Cathedral and the Bridge over the River Severn. |
Plaque
unveiled at Gilbert Bayes' War memorial at BroadstoneOn 28 July 2010, the Sculptor Gilbert Bayes (1872-1953), was honoured when this Plaque was unveiled in front of his War Memorial at Broadstone, Dorset. This picture was sent to me by Jill Floyd; who successfully campaigned for the memorial to be listed and has now persuaded the local council to add this plaque commemorating the sculptor. Well done Jill! (For more information on this memorial and Gilbert Bayes, go to Page 4). |
