In February 1918 the Heavies refitted for a week in Buyscherre and then moved by train from Arques to the St Quentin area where they enjoyed a relatively peaceful month

The Germans launched their final offensive on 21 March 1918 and for the next week the Heavies were forced to retreat some 60 kilometres through difficult country close to the Oise valley. Following this withdrawal they moved to the Amiens area where, after refitting, they were involved in heavy fighting until in May they were ordered to refit in Abbeville.

For several weeks the battery was static close to Amiens until at the beginning of August the guns moved forward into the Somme valley as part of the Allied offensive. The Battery then advanced steadily amid heavy fighting until Peronne was passed in early September. Leaving the Somme valley the Heavies continued to advance passing through Hargicourt and Estrees until reaching St Souplet where the Armistice was celebrated.
