There is much to enjoy within walking distance of the village. Fantastic sand and rock beaches offer relaxation and gentle walking. You can also walk the forest paths behind the beach or over undulating farmland behind the village The mountains of Sutherland across the Firth provide a spectacular backdrop to the ever varying moods of sea and sky.
