Cumbernauld is ideally suited for access from all the major road networks in central Scotland. Although we have a reputation for visiting teams getting lost in Cumbernauld, if you follow these simple directions you should have no problems.
From Glasgow
- Follow the A80 until you reach the junction with the A8011 signposted Cumbernauld and Kirkintilloch.
- As you exit the A80 keep in the right hand lane towards the town centre.
- When safe to do so return to the left hand lane ignoring the off and on ramps from Condorrat.
- Exit the A8011 at the next off ramp signposted Seafar and Greenfaulds.
- At the top of the off ramp there is a roundabout, take the first exit, signposted Seafar.
- In about nine tenths of a mile the street on the right is sign posted Brown Road. Enter Brown road and continue to the building at the top, this is Muirfield Community Education centre.
From Stirling
- Follow the A80 until you reach the junction with the A8011 signposted Cumbernauld.
- Continue up the hill towards the town centre.
- After the slip road to Cumbernauld theatre take the next exit signposted Seafar and Kildrum.
- At the top of the off ramp there is a roundabout, take the fourth exit signposted Seafar.
- In about 2 tenths of a mile you will come to BROWN Road which is the third on your left. Continue to the building at the top this is Muirfield Community Education centre.
