Cadet Promotions. (18th Sept 06)

Well you've probably guessed it if you haven't already been told - promotions are here again .. If you would like to be considered for promotions you have to tell us. Therefore.. Cadets, to be considered for a Corporals position you must let us know by giving us a letter saying so.. ie.. Cadet Wibble would like to be considered for the position of Corporal, Followed by a maximum of 8 lines as to why we should consider you.. You must be at least a First Class cadet in order to be considered.

For promotion from Corporal to Sergeant you must again write as a letter as above, but you need to tell us more about yourself!!!
Why should you be considered? What experience have you got? What have you got to offer?? Basically why should you be the one promoted and not someone else??? No more than 1 side of A4 paper.

Sergeant to Flight Sergeant - Well you've guessed it - As above but you need to go further again.. What else can you tell us about.. well this time its' up to you.. You've got to decide what more you can give, what more can you tell us about.. Remember Why YOU!!!!
Again no more than 1 side of A4 paper.

Finally for the senior positions you will most probably be asked to sit an interview panel in order to find out more about you.

The New BIT!!!!

All cadets will also need to produce a CV which will include name, DOB, address, School history, Clubs etc. Any information which we should know which would help you be promoted.

The number of positions and ranks for the promotions have not been decided yet by the Staff but get your application in early and you shall be kept updated at the squadron and via the website.

Good luck.
