The Civilian Committee

Every ATC Squadron has a Civilian Committee. At 432 Squadron these comprise of Parents and Friends of the Squadron. Their role is to ensure the Squadron maintains direction, assisting the Commanding Officer and raising funds. Fund raising is very important as each Squadron is only allocated a small sum towards its administration costs. Public money is not used for any expenses and therefore have to be paid for by the Squadron. Other than Flying, Gliding and Shooting, all other activities are funded through fund raising.

Parents and friends get a great deal of enjoyment, pleasure and fun out of assisting 'their' Squadron as members of the Civilian Committee. The Committee meets to their own timetable under the direction of a Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.

Mr Crowe - Chariman
Mr Walker -Treasurer
Mrs Reeve.- Secretary
Mrs Jarrett.
