Civilian Committee
We are currently looking for committee members for the Squadron.
432 (Woodbridge) ATC would like to welcome the new members of the Civilian Committee to the squadron.
Mrs Knights and Mrs Turner stood down from their posts on the committee earlier this year following dedicated service, passing their responsibilities onto a new generation of members.
Mr Paul Walker a local business owner remains the Squadrons treasure and we are continually grateful for all the heard work and effort he puts into his role.
Reverend Aidan Platten is the Squadron Padre. Currently he is a local priest and he visits the squadron to check the welfare of the cadets and is there to offer guidance on difficult matters to both cadets and staff. He has joined us on a night exercise in the local forest and has attended the squadron camps on several occasions. Being a closet land rover fan also helps him to bond with the squadron staff.
Mr Timothy Moore has joined us as the Civilian Committee Secretary. His role as a head Geography teacher at a local school will help to keep the squadron apprised of future activities and enable correct spelling on all those fund raising forms.
Mr Crowe joins us as the new committee chairman. One of his main hobbies is the walk the hills of the UK. Being a qualified mountain walker his skills will come in handy as the cadets participate in their adventure training.
Mrs Jarrett and Mrs Reeve join the committee to help out with new fundraising ideas, and add the necessary female perspective to the male dominated committee.
We look forward to your new ideas and hope you enjoy your time with the squadron.
As a committee member you will be asked to help raise money for the cadets from activities, in order to enable cadets to take part in more activities and purchase more equipment. Meetings take place only a few times in the year and only take a few hours. So if you are willing to give a little time to help out then please do not hesitate to make contact either by email or on a Wednesday night at the drill hall. Your support in any size will be appreciated.
