CADET CORPORAL
The first rung up the ladder! As a Junior NCO some time will be spent developing leadership and familiarisation of Squadron's management
CADET SERGEANT
With promotion comes more responsibilty. As you become confident with taking charge you will be expected to assist in organising the activities of the Squadron. Further leadership as well as management qualities will be developed.
CADET FLIGHT SERGEANT
As a Senior NCO you might find you are in charge of a flight of cadets and responsible for training and carrying out the CO's Standing Orders. A great deal of initiative will be expected and the ability to work unsupervised in a competent and professional manner is essential.
CADET WARRANT OFFICER
The appointment of this rank, CWO, is dependant of recommendation from your Squadron's Commanding Officer. The actual promotion is authorised by the Wing Commander. You will be expected to be responsible for actively participating in squadron planning.

Air Experience Flying, Glider Pilot Training, Familiarisation Gliding, Annual Camps, Opportunity Flights, Overseas Flights, IACE Visits Abroad, Leadership Courses, Visits to Affiliated Stations, Visits to the Aircraft Industry, Adventure Training. |

| PROJECTS |
| At least 25 hours on projects selected by the Squadron. Examples: |
Aircraft Recognition, Aeromodelling, Engineering, Communications, Band Training, Building and Maintenance Projects, Cockpit Trainers, Hovercraft, Radios, Training Aids. |
