Hi my name is Lisa I have been a member of the Rayleigh Riders for about 6 years. I rode a CG125 on L-plates and they welcomed me to the club and taught me how to ride staggered and use the drop off system. I actually learned as to why we ride staggered as I rode into the back of Roy one afternoon.

After my accident about three years ago when I was knocked off my bike by a car on a roundabout and my leg was broken, the Rayleigh Riders helped me get my confidence back and I eventually passed my test two years ago. I bought a GPZ 305 and followed the club to Cornwall about two weeks after passing my test. I have also been to Wales a few times, leading the ride, which is hard work and very challenging. My riding improved and I now own a BMW 650CS, which is like a dream come true, and I can keep up with the big bikes. I get treated as an equal and I join in on everything even if I am the only female rider.
