June/July 2 weeks annual tour, 1st four days - Peak District, then onto Lake District
Saturday 21st June - Wyburns School, Rayleigh. 12 Noon til about 5pm. This will be meeting the Mayors Limo somewhere in Rochford, then escorting to Wyburns school. Once there we put our bikes on display, and assist the teachers with some events for the kids funday. Marshals wanted *
Thursday 26th June, it's Les (Capt Birdseye's ) birthday.
Saturday 28th June til Saturday 12th July...Club annual 2 week tour, this year we are going to the Peak district for a few days then on to the Lake district. THE CLUB WILL BE CLOSED FOR THIS PERIOD.
CLUB RE-OPENS THURSDAY 17th JULY. If you want to come, names to Gary please.

Saturday 19th - Sunday 20th July, camping weekend. Volunteer to organise this please.
Sunday 27th July - Meal at Ace Cafe, meet at Brookside Cafe at 2pm, stopping at Lea Valley Park and then onto Ace Cafe for meal at 7pm

Sunday 24th August. St Johns run from Maldon to southend seafront. This will entail our club supplying as many bikes as possible to escort several hundres bikes on "B" roads from Maldon, round Tillingham, Steeple, The Hanningfields, etc, our club using the drop off system, and marking the route. several club bikes will need to use short cuts and get ahead of the ride to drop off again. Lots of fast riding, should be a lot of fun. Marshals Wanted *
Bank holiday Monday. 25th August, Wakering fayre, for those that have done it you all know what a fun day this is. Throwing wet sponges at Lisa and the Mayor and who ever else we can get. Les has volunteered. Marshals wanted *
