Builders' forum:

A Little Samson builder, Don, moderates a builders' forum. It is highly recommended, try http://www.groups.yahoo.com/group/samson_builders/
The group has proved very successful, there are now 69 members. There are dozens more pictures, plus numerous hints and tips.

Recent news:

Little Samson Models has recently bought a vertical gear shaper to cut Little Samson and Universal Carrier road gears. Gear cutting may now be undertaken for models other than the Little Samson designs; guide price 3" scale is 50p per tooth and 4" scale 60p per tooth plus £5 per gear set up charge. Gears cut in 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 DP.

My thanks to all who have offered pictures of their models, under construction or complete, to include herewith. They are much appreciated, particularly by those new to our hobby. If you have any more up to date pictures please forward them.

The construction series on building the Universal Carrier began in the Model Engineer vol 193 No 4228 August 20th - September 2nd 2004. The series is currently on part 26.
