m.a.t.s.: Homeschooling in Sweden
From what I can gather, there are very few people homeschooling in Sweden, and some of the local education authorities are reluctant to allow parents to educate their children at home despite it being their legal right to do so, but it does seem to be a growing movement. http://hem.passagen.se/matshem/index.htm

o.t.h.: Homeschooling in Norway
Homeschooling is growing in Norway for many reasons, including the fact that the school entrance age has been lowered to 6! http://bdd.no/oth

Support Groups in the US

There are thousands of support groups in the US, and these tend to be arranged both locally and state-by-state, since laws affecting home education vary depending upon which state you happen to live in.

Christian Support Groups

One of the best sites I have found, which lists mostly Christian US support groups, is at http://www.mache.org

Non-Christian Support Groups

There is a main national organisation which defends home educators in the event of having to fight "City Hall" over their decision to homeschool, and will let you know the legal requirements for your State: the Homeschool Legal Defence Association: http://www.hslda.org

Rest of the World

Christian Support Groups

The World-wide Service (WES) of the Parents National Education Union (PNEU), originally formed by Charlotte Mason, provides a comprehensive service of support and curriculum, primarily for missionary families abroad, but also supplies to home educating families at home in the UK and the rest of the world. They can be contacted at: The World-wide Education Service of the PNEU, Strode House, 44-50 Osnaburgh Street, London NW1 3NN.

Australia

Canada
http://www.life.ca This is a really useful site, with tips on how to approach subjects etc.

New Zealand
http://ourworld.compuserv.com/homepages/astley/homeeduc.htm Some friends of ours have just returned to the UK from living in New Zealand. Apparently homeschooling is not uncommon there since people tend to live in far-flung places away from schools, and so the Government actually supports home educators with a comprehensive programme.
