stroll through the old village...
 


We start our walk on Ganborough Hill. Fortunately for us we are going down, and on the way meet Mr Sidney Hudson coming up with his horse and cart.



A little further down, near the allotments,
we pass some poor soul heavily laden with
shopping and a taxing climb ahead of her.
Across the Evenlode valley beyond the
church lies Brailes Hill in Warwickshire
and across to the right the hills around
Chastleton in Oxfordshire.

 

As we approach the bottom of the hill we
can see on the right the tops of the houses
in Yew Tree Bank, and across the trees
the diagonal streak of the Moreton Road
200 feet below.
