Many of the Villagers reminiscences which have appeared from time to time as articles in the "Link" are more than worthy of inclusion in these pages - they are a true insight into life in the Village as it was.

The first of these is a fascinating account of life in the 40's " A girl growing up in Longborough", in which Betty Barrington recalls milk from the pail, the "Monday Man" in his red van filled with "cottons, buttons, matches, candles, china, pots or pans", Friday night fish and chips cooked in a van which visited the village, and much more - an invaluable contribution to the Village history.
