When parents enroll children they are given entry and leaving forms. The entry form is particularly important as it gives the school information about your child's medical needs and information about where to contact you in an

emergency.

It is vital that you update us if

circumstances change.

We ask parents not to send their children to the school if they are taking medicine, but if absolutely necessary staff will administer medicine if there are written instructions from the parent.

Nursery Policies:

The nursery has several policies which describe the working practice within the school, these are available to parents on request. Topic plans showing the subject coverage in more detail are available.

Recording and Reporting:

We have assessment forms for children between the ages of two and four years old. Parents are asked to complete these forms and return them to the nursery prior to the child starting.

During the academic year the staff will record their observations on the form. The assessment form will be periodically returned to the parents to inform them of their child's progress.

When the child leaves the school the assessments and written reports will be sent to the child's next school or if appropriate given to the parents.
