WHEN it comes to science fiction, or any other form of film for that matter, you can be sure Barry Morse's name is mentioned highly. He appeared in The Twlight Zone, the first major sci-fi show on TV, and was a household name in the Sixties with The Fugitive show, which later inspired the Harrison Ford movie. Barry took the part of Lt Philip Gerard. The Fugitive ran from 1963-67 and told the tale of Dr Richard Kimble, who was accused of murdering his wife. The night before his execution, he escapes. The only chance to prove his innocence is to find the man who did kill his wife. Kimble, persecuted by the Lt Gerard, risks his life several times when he shows his identity to help other people out of trouble. From 1959-65 there was The Twilight Zone, a collection of tales which ranged from comic to tragic, but often had a sharp sense of humor and an unexpected twist. In Space: 1999 he was Prof Victor Bergman, and he has also been in shows such as The Invaders and Space Island One. It's thought that Barry has played an incredible 3,000 roles on radio, TV, stage and film.
