HATTIE
HAYRIDGE - HOLLY THE COMPUTER
HATTIE is known to millions of sci-fi fans as Holly the Computer from the hit TV series Red Dwarf.
But as well as that Hattie is well known on the comedy circuit and regularly does gigs around the country. Several years ago she used to appear on Friday Night Live on Channel 4, the show that catapulted Ben Elton to stardom.
Hattie performs
live all over Britain and around the world, including both the prestigious Montreal and
Sydney Comedy Festivals. Hattie has also appeared on everything from Have I Got News For
You to Celebrity Squares and most recently on BBC1's Heads On Comedy and as Lizzie
Gillespie in Jonathan Creek.
She has also written articles for national magazine and papers, as well as for comics Rory Bremner and Jasper Carrot. The Daily Mail has said of her: "Deceptively timid comedienne whose shy wit masks a razor edge humour. An iron fist inside a velvet glove."
And as Time Out's Mike Wilmot quipped: "Right when it looks like she's about to kiss you, Hattie drops a tarantula down your pants."
