Virtuoso Chamber Music

Robert Hoult on recorders with a string quartet of professional

Kent musicians will play Hans Gal’s concertino,

Beethoven’s Quartet Op.18 No.1, Mozart’s Andante in C and

Bach’s Suite No.2 in B minor which finishes with the famous Badinerie.

Vaughan Williams: Job (A Masque for Dancing)

The famous exploits of Dukas’s young Sorcerer make a popular prelude

to a Welsh keyboard wizard, Llyr Williams, playing Schumann’s delightful Piano Concerto.

Marking the Vaughan Williams anniversary in 2008,

there is a rare concert airing for one of his finest works, Job,

magnificently inspired by William Blake’s illustrations.

Stepping Out by Richard Harris

This production is a warm and funny play about a group of women

and one man, who meet at a weekly tap-dance class. Struggling with

their own inhibitions, these wildly different characters come together to

learn to tap dance in preparation for a charity dance performance.

Not only do they have to come to terms with their clumsy feet, but

with each other, both with hilarious results. How will the class fare

in their first public performance? Can dance teacher Mavis get them

tapping in time to pull off the show?
