John Bennett

Better known as 'Blobby', John is one of the stalwarts of the competition scene and has been flying for years - he really is quite old.

Credits include the fastest F3F time with a loop (34.xx seconds) and he is the reigning 60" Pylon Champion, having pipped the Swillers at the final competition of 1999, as well as numerous other competion wins.

John recently switched to flying an Acacia. He obtained one of the first models in the country in March 1999 and after one of his whirlwind building programmes started flying it in October of the same year.

Jim Taylor

Jim is a stalwart of the Eastbourne club. He is the man to know at Eastbourne as his is usually the only van allowed on the hill and if you are quick you can get your gear in the back and save yourself a lot of unnecessary effort.

Jim organises the social side of the Eastbourne events and is the man to contact if you want B&B info.

Jim's other main claim to fame is as the manufacturer of the Revenge 60" racer and the 'Stretcher' - you guessed it, a stretched Revenge. Both excellent models at reasonable prices. As close to ARTF as non moulded models get.
