Chelmsford
first twinned with Annonay (France) in 1999. The Chelmsford Folk dancers
formed a partnership with Les Pas Perdus, a folk dance group from Vernosc
Les Annonay. Since 2002 the two folk dance groups have made regular exchange
visits

In1976 our club celebrated its 25th anniversary. Members were asked to contribute articles for a booklet that was produced to commemorate the event. Ladies who take Gentlemen; by Janet Probert, describes the dilemmas faced by some ladies who are forced to take the Gentleman's role, whilst Musings of a Display Dancer by Alan Cartwright gives an insight into some of the trials and tribulations of being a dancer.

AFTER
THE DANCE - A WALK IN THE WILD By Brian Howe --- Although our main interest
is in folk dance, we sometimes become involved in other activities, one of
which is rambling.
Originally held at Greenwoods in Stock, once a year we hold a barbeque. See here for more details and some pictures.
In
1986 a display team was formed, for members of the club prepared to give
up some of their spare time to give public demonstrations. Click here for
