Missionary News

The following summarises some of the individual Mission Fields and countries with links to their respective web sites and e-mail addresses for further information, that we as a Church have particular interest in.

EUROPEAN MISSIONARY FELLOWSHIP
We receive monthly prayer bulletins and the Vision of Europe magazine quarterly, which were distributed to many in the Church. As well as supporting the general work of EMF we also received individual prayer letters from the following EMF workers: Michael & Ariëtte Robinson in Belgium, José & Virtudes Moreno, Luis & Pilar Cano, José & Anneke de Segovia in Spain, Paulo & Cristina Nunes, Miguel & Luisa Canha in Portugal, Krzysztof & Aneta Rutkowski in Poland, and Mihail & Albina Nikitov in Belarus, Pal and Anna Borzasi in Romania.

PAPUA NEW GUINEA
We received regular prayer letters to update us on the work from Bernard and Linda Lewis of UFM Worldwide , who have recently returned, after a year in the UK. The work in this country is particularly hard and dangerous due to the economic climate there and the very high crime rate.

CHINA
We receive monthly prayer letters from OMF and also heard news from Tony and Frances Lambert. Tony has been visiting China again as well as his preaching tours in Europe during the year.

THAILAND
We receive regular bulletins from Robert and Muriel Williams also OMF.  Robert continues to concentrate on Hmong Bible translation.

ALBANIA
We regularly receive news from the Albanian Evangelical Mission.  The missionary situation in Albania and Kosova still continues to be very hard in light of the political uprisings and general unrest in the Balkans.

ROMANIA
We regularly receive bulletins from the Romanian Aid Fund about the gospel outreach work there. They sponsored a number of theological students last year studying at institutions in Bucharest.

OPEN AIR MISSION
The church regularly supports the work of the Open Air Mission and their team of Evangelists visiting and witnessing to the masses at the Fair Grounds, Race Courses and elsewhere up and down the Country. We are updated by the reports from "The Master and the Multitude", the quarterly magazine of the O.A.M. and our local representative in the area.
