Marvs Guide to Karaoke !!
SOFTWARE
Providing you have sound card installed, all you require is a Karaoke File Player.
I use
'WinKaraoke'. It's easy to use and complete with a bouncing ball
!!!.

Once you have your player
installed - Download some of my
Karaoke
file
collection. Unzip files & drop them into the 'Songs' folder
in your Karaoke file Player.
HARDWARE
If you want to make your singing heard either :-
1) - Connect Your PC to your Home Hi-Fi |
| 2) - Connect Your PC to a P.A. Amplifier. |
1) Connect to a Home Hi-Fi :
| Connect
PC Sound Card 'Line Out' to Hi-Fi 'Aux.' input using a 3.5mm stereo jack to twin phono cable. |
Use the
Volume Controls in your sound Card 'Mixer' program to adjust Mic & Backing track levels. |
Connect MIC to PC Sound Card'Mic' input. (You may require a 1/4" to 3.5mm adaptor depending upon type of Mic you have). |

Connect to P.A Amplifier:
| Connect Mic into P.A Amplifier 'Mic' Input. | Use the
Volume Controls On P.A. Mixer to adjust Mic & Backing track levels. |
Connect PC Sound Card 'Line' output to 'Line' input on P.A. Amplifier. |
