Other CGI Bits n' Bobs
These are some of my projects. I don't seem to get as much time to fiddle on LW anymore now that I've started my main GCSE courses.
This is an image of an entire model (only downstairs so far) of our house from Canada. It uses faked radiosity techniques, and the linear ceiling lights eat up rendering time like mad, this individual frame took my computer six hours to render (which doesn't say much about the power of my machine!). I haven't done much on this since last christmas, but I have recently taken a new interest in the project, and will probably set up a new page for it. The tango can at the bottom of this page will be combined with the object to create a more photorealistic 'clutter'. The textures need improvement, they were only temporary anyway, but I need to try to use more image maps rather than the procedural textures (hence the tango can project). (32K)
This is a simple diamond that I did to experiment with the refractive index controls.

No, not an advertisment for Apple Tango! It was quite challenging trying to scan in the surface of a tango can on my flatbed scanner! The rest of the model is my own. (26K)
