The ACES Sureshift 2 is a sequential shiftlight system for motorsport applications. It ain't cheap, but it is the Big Daddy (or Giant Haystacks) of the shiftlight world.

Key Benefits

  • Fully programmable - including start and end RPM range, shift-down light, LED intensity. It's sooo easy too!
  • Multiple 'profiles' can be configured (e.g. lower RPM range for the road, go-for-glory settings for the track)
  • It lets humble 7 owners look down on the R3/4/500 brigade (although these cars are painfully expensive in comparison, they've got a much simpler system - built by ACES for Caterham. Watch them go green with envy!)

Installation Details

Brief details of how AR7E fitted their SS2 here This page also has some hints and tips for nighttime driving...

Important Notes

Two important notes:

  1. If you own an 'EU3' k-series engined car, a small modification needs to be made to the control unit (a resistor is removed - reversible though...), ask Julian at ACES to modify the unit before shipping.
  2. Ask Julian for the standard mounting bracket for the shiftlight cluster. He did AR7E's for free...
