U4IA 'REPLIKA' - REVIEW BY PAM PRICE:

A long overdue new CD from Neil & Mark, but in my opinion it has been worth the wait.
Having heard the CD many times now, I would like to share my comments on it, track by track:

Track 1: "Some guys have all the Luck"
An oldie but a goldie! and given Euphoria's own particular interpretation.
A popular choice and Neil's harmonies with himself give it that added 'something'.
Great opening track.

Track 2: "Don't go"
This one really shows off  Neil's vast vocal range. The beatty tempo is great played really LOUD!
I challenge anyone to keep still while this track is playing!

Track 3: "Pray"
The instrumental sections on this track are superb and really show off Mark's keyboard skills.
A song with a message about the way we live today. Neil sings it with great feeling.

Track 4: "Everything I own"
This track will take people of a certain age back in time! Neil's rendition shows his voices gentler side, and is very easy on the ears. I'm sure Boy George would approve!

Track 5: "Mysterious times"
Unusual special effects on this one, which comes across very well on a good sound system.
Plenty of instrumental and very danceable.

Track 6: "On a night like this"
Good one to dance to and a track for the romantics amongst us! Neil uses a lot of his varying vocal range, and a lot of feeling comes across in this track.

Track 7: "Do you really want to hurt me?"
Only Neil could begin this track the way he does! It stamps a true uniqueness to the CD & gives him a chance to claim his very own 'catchphrase!'.
Gentle music, beautifully played and soothingly sung.

Track 8: "My heart will go on"
A superb rendition of this modern classic. It's distant sound takes you back to the sea, and is a track that you can never tire of. Listen to it with your eyes shut and you will get a true sense of love and calmness.

Track 9: "Coming home"
The first of 2 original tracks on here. This one took a little time to grow on me personally, but the more I listened to it the more I liked it. You need to listen carefully to the words and I'm sure a lot of people could relate to this song.
Neil gives it a very 'loving' touch and I'm sure he must have been thinking of someone when he recorded this.
Gentle instrumental finishes this track off beautifully.

Track 10: "Once in a lifetime"
The second original track on here. Upbeat and different. Good instrumentals. Catchy lyrics...plain and simple.

Track 11: "Whistle down the wind"
This last track has to be one of the best renditions of this song there is. Neil puts his whole self  into this and it comes across very strongly. Shows off his vocal talent and you can almost see him standing there on the West End stage. Absolutely Brilliant.

Summary:
A superb CD for anyone's collection and a snip at the price! If you love U4IA, then you're not going to be disappointed with this. If there was any justice in the world it would be in the charts for sure!!!!!!!!!!
