Just like most of the Bielefeld issues, the above note has different variants.
Edgings can be coloured or intricate lace.
The verse in the upper right corner states:
Translated to English it says:
'How the enemy is looting : for delivered coal, until June 30th 1922,
Germany's reparation account was credited with 700,000,000 Goldmark. (700 millionen)
Compared with coal prices on the British market, Germany should have
been credited for 2,000,000,000 Goldmark. (2 milliarden) Here is the hat we have to bow to.'
(In the drama "William Tell" of Friedrich Schiller the Landvogt/administrator
for the Swiss lands - who's name was Gessler - put up a stake with his hat on.
Everyone who passed this stake had to greet it as if it was the Vogt himself.
That brought the barrel to run over and contributed to the uprising against the
German (Habsburg) Emperor in Vienna. The famous "Gessler-Hut").
