Archon - Electronic Arts/Free Fall (1983)

The ultimate battle between good and evil.  For 1 or 2 players, Archon  is best described as “interactive chess”.  When 2 pieces meet on the board, they fight to the death in an arena.  The various pieces (such as Basilisk, Banshee and Valkyrie) have different weapons and are lead by a wizard who can cast spells.  Wipe out the opposing army or capture all 5 power points to win!
