Armalyte - Thalamus/Cyberdyne Systems (1988)

Armalyte, the follow up to Delta, sees scientists for Armalyte Industries setting up a research base on the ruins of a former H’siffian outpost.  Communications have since been lost and the military have been called in to reclaim the base.  Good in 1 player mode and  superb in 2 player, Armalyte has stunning graphics and 8 levels of sheer enjoyment.  I even played it with my cousin ‘til 6am once!
