Lightforce - FTL (1987)

A distress signal from the Regulus region is brief:- “ships of unknown origin landing at key installations.”  The GEM council respond by sending the Lightforce fighter into action, the only spaceship in that sector.  This is my favourite vertical shooter.  It has good colourful graphics, a superb Rob Hubbard soundtrack and great gameplay with the difficulty not too hard.
