My favourite group
 The Cocteau Twins

This Scottish band formed in the early 80s and combine the sweeping guitar backgrounds of Simon Raymonde and Robin Guthrie with the ethereal vocals of Liz Fraser. The group split up in the late 90s after releasing a dozen  unique-sounding albums and EPs. The members are now pursuing successful solo careers
