About Me
This Page Is UNDER CONSTRUCTION
I am Paul Ingram (you can email me if you wish), I come from Portsmouth, am fanatic about Babylon 5, real ale and cricket.
I am engaged to Angelique (there will be a link here to an Angelique page when she manages to do one), who is from the Netherlands, we are currently trying to buy a family home together - my house being too small. We have a (mostly) delightful son called Daniel.
I left Portsmouth in 1985 to go to The University of Essex, where I studied Physics and Microelectronics. I lived in student flats, in a shared house and for my final year on campus. I was not very politically active or enthusiatic about any one society whilst at university but I did become a vegetarian during my final year. I graduated in 1988 and, regrettably didnot keep in touch with the many great people I met there.
After a year or so of moving around to try and pay off my large student bar bill and find out what I wanted to do I took a permanent job at Marconi, in Surrey, as a Technical Author and began developing my Information Science skills.
I met Angelique through a colleague who ran the guest house where she was staying on a short secondment to the UK.
She's now a UK resident and I quit Marconi to look after my son and pursue my interest in Archaeology. I still play cricket for the Marconi midweek team and darts with a friend who is still serving his sentence at Marconi.
I hope to move close to Reading to be near the university there where I will starting study of Archaeology in October.
